Orpheus Wren is just a lil birb that loves writing. He nearly died but
that didn't quite happen.

Time will tell if this is a good thing or an enormous cosmic mistake.

Ramblings

This is the portion of the blog that is basically a blog. You will find all kinds of things here! Health updates (Wren is chronically ill), cooking recipes (Wren went to pastry school), gardening musings, philosophical introspections, insight into the writing process... It's hard to predict what, but this is where it will go!

Writings

This is where Wren's pieces of work, from rough drafts to nearly publication ready, will go. He's working on several projects besides Earth's Enduring Echo (more on that later), as well as constantly writing poetry, so you'll find many things here!

Earth's Enduring Echo

Ever since early 2024, Wren has been hinting at an epic he was planning to write including a minimum of four books and many, many other stories. He was hampered by a brain aneurysm that preceeded the idea and the recovery from that and other things, but he's finally ready to start working on it!

Earth's Enduring Echo is an epic told through time, space, history, mythology, and philosophy. It explores themes of hope, truth, duty, honoring history, faith in each other, and cooperation, as well as its main themes of trauma, healing, and unity.
